  The town is built along the left bank of the river Lot in a region that has been inhabited since time immemorial.   Pujols is classed among the ”Most beautiful villages of France”. The ancient medieval town is perched at an altitude of over 180 metres, dominating the Lot valley.
  Pujols Le Haut, an ancient stronghold, has known an eventful past. Destroyed during the Albigensian war , it was then rebuilt. A large part of its 13th century heritage has been wonderfully preserved.
  The town is still surrounded by a part of its ramparts and the bell tower of the old seigneurial chapel still stands today (…)

  La Originalidad de Villeneuve esta en su posicion privilegiada sobre el rio Lot. La ciudad resalta por su preservacion, puesto que ella conserva el aspecto medieval. Descubra sus calles y descubra sus pasajes cubiertos que datan del siglo XIV, camine al rededor de la plaza Lafayette con sus casas del siglo XVII y XVIII.
  Atraviese igualmente la « porte de Paris » anciano acceso a la ciudad que data del siglo XIV y no olvide el viejo puente del siglo XIII sobre el rio Lot, una obra unica y (…)

  Construida entre el Lot y su afuente Lède, esta pequena ciudad, antiguo puerto de batalla, fue en la edad media uno de los mas importantes lugares para los Agenais y fue igualmente el primer lugar de masacre de la cruzada contra los herejes cathare.

  Construida entre el Lot y su afuente "Lède", esta pequena ciudad, antiguo puerto de batalla, fue en la edad media uno de los mas importantes lugares para los Agenais y fue igualmente el primer lugar de masacre de la cruzada contra los herejes cathare.
  Casi una Isla natural, instaurada en un lugar lleno de naturaleza, ella debe su belleza a los tres rios que la rodean :le "lot", la "Lède" y la "Sône".

  Pujols gehört zu den Orten, die mit dem Label " Les plus beaux villages de France" ausgezeichnet wurden. Die ehemalige mittelalterliche Siedlung liegt auf 180 Meter Höhe und überragt das Lot-Tal. Pujols Le Haut, die einstige Festung aus dem Mittelalter, hat unruhige Zeiten mitgemacht : Sie wurde während des Albigenser-Krieges zerstört und danach wieder aufgebaut. Ein Großteil der Bauten aus dem 13. Jahrhundert konnte glücklicherweise bewahrt werden.

  Pujols esta clasificada entre las mas bellos pueblitos de Francia. La anciana ciudad Medieval se encuentra a mas de 180 metros de altitud lo que le permite dominar el valle de la region Lot.
  Pujols le Haut, plaza anciana medieval conocio una fuerte historia. Ella fue destruida durante la guerra de los Albigeois y reconstruida posteriormente ; ella conserva igualmente una gran parte de su patrimonio del siglo XIII.
