  On June the 28th 2007, UNESCO registered the city of Bordeaux, “Port of the Moon” as an “exceptional urban unit” in World Heritage. It was the first time UNESCO World Heritage Commission was honouring such a vast urban unit .

  El 28 de junio de 2007 la UNESCO añadió Burdeos, el “Puerto de la luna” en la lista del Patrimonio mundial con el título de “Conjunto urbano excepcional”.

  Le 28 juin 2007, l’UNESCO a inscrit Bordeaux, Port de la Lune, sur la liste du Patrimoine mondial au titre d’Ensemble urbain exceptionnel. La distinction de ce vaste périmètre de 1810 hectares est une première. La Commission du Patrimoine mondial de l’UNESCO n’avait encore jamais honoré un ensemble urbain de cette ampleur.
